ecoATM Collects Over 38 Million Devices, Removing Thousands of Tons of E-Waste

Electronic waste, or e-waste, is a growing problem in the world today. As technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace, people are constantly upgrading their devices, resulting in a massive amount of electronic waste. Unfortunately, many people don't know what to do with their old electronics, leading to them improper disposal methods like in the trash or left to gather dust in a corner. 

This is where companies like ecoATM come in. We are a company that has made it our mission to collect old electronic devices and either put them to reuse or properly dispose of them. ecoATM's Collection Efforts

Since our founding in 2008, we have been committed to collecting old electronic devices and to limit the amount of hazardous materials the enter our natural environment. Our approach is simple: provide people with a convenient and easy way to recycle their old devices.

We have over 5,000 locations across the United States, including malls, grocery stores, and convenience stores. These kiosks allow people to drop off their old devices and receive cash in exchange, turning one person's junk into instant reward. 

Over the years, ecoATM's collection efforts have grown significantly. As of April 2023, we have collected over 38 million devices! This includes everything from smartphones and tablets to laptops. The amount of e-waste that we have diverted from landfills is staggering: 38 million devices collected equate to over 19 million pounds of e-waste.
