The New Samsung Galaxy S23 Lineup

The highly anticipated new Galaxy line did not disapoint at this morning's reveal. While the models still have several of the time-tested favorites, they also have exciting new features that are certain to make waves in the smartphone industry.

Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+

The base model and its larger sibling model of the latest line don't have anything basic about them. The new Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, the same chipset as the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This new chipset is set to deliver an enhanced image signal processor for better video, photo and gaming experiences. Additionally, GPU is 40% faster than last year's chipset, providing faster performance and higher quality graphics.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 and its two other sibling devices in the new line include a newly designed pro-grade camera system. The Nightography feature brings several promising aspects such as an easier share experience, better low-light photography and selecting certain camera tones from within the camera app.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 features a 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED and includes a 3900 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy S23+ features the same Infinity-O display but in a 6.6-inch size and slightly higher battery power with a 4,700 battery. It's offered in Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender.

The new Samsung Galaxy S23 will be available for preorder beginning today, February 1st and will be in stores starting February 17th from $799. The new Samsung Galaxy S23+ is available for preorder today starting at $999 and will be available for purchase on February 17th.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The main showstopper for today's event was the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This model replaces what would have been the previous Galaxy Note series and offers an array of larger and better features, most notably the impressive new camera system.

This new system is the most advanced camera setup on a Galaxy device, ever. The 200MP main camera captures more of the details within a photo's background thanks to reengineered pixel technology. This system also includes a 4K 60 frames-per-second Super HDR feature to take your video and photos to an entirely new level, no matter what light setting you may be shooting in. The Galaxy S23 Ultra also features a two times wider optical image stabilization to help steady your action shots.

The new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is available for preorder today and purchase on February 17th with a price point starting at $1,199.

Galaxy Book3 Ultra PC

While the new smartphones may have had the most buzz before the event, it's clear that Samsung has been cooking much more in the kitchen with the launch of the Galaxy Book3 Ultra.

Available in four exciting new models, the Galaxy Book3 line offers two new laptop options and two new 2-in-1 laptop options. All of the models feature a 13th Gen Intel Core Processor and AMOLED displays. The Samsung Galaxy Book3 laptops appear to comparable to that of the MacBook Pro series with favorable performance and sleek design.

The new Galaxy Book3 laptops begin at $1,449.99 and the Galaxy Book3 360 2-in-1 tablets begin at $1,299.99.

One UI 5.1

The new operating system on the Galaxy S23 series named One UI 5.1 offers plenty of upgrades that allow customization, enhanced safety and security and a better smart home ecosystem.
