Cosmetic Grade: Fair

To be cosmetic grade Fair, a device must meet these criteria:

• No severe defects
• No more than 1 moderate defects on the front
• No more than 3 moderate defects on the back
• No more than 20 minor defects on the front
• No more than 30 minor defects on the back

Definitions

Minor Defect

• Cannot be seen from a distance of 12 to 18 inches with screen turned on
• Cannot be felt
• No exterior finish missing
• Slight amount of case wear/sunburn

Moderate Defect

• Visible from a distance of 12 to 18 inches, and is smaller than 5 mm
• Can feel it, but it is not sharp
• Exterior finish that is smaller than 5 mm
• Moderate amount of case wear/ sunburn around the housing or the back of the device

Severe Defect

• Visible from a distance of 12 to 18 inches, and is larger than 5 mm
• Can feel it, and it is sharp
• Any dents or bends
• Missing exterior finish that is smaller than 5 mm
• Case wear/sunburn on the display or heavy amounts on the back or housing
