Prepare your Amazon Fire tablet for ecoATM

Here's how to get the most cash for your device.

  • Remove your Amazon account
  • Factory reset your tablet
  • Charge it up
  • Bring your ID

How to factory reset your Fire tablet

This will permanently remove your data — make sure you've backed up anything you want to keep.

  1. Take out your microSD & SIM cards If your tablet has them. Make sure you're signed in as the tablet's owner, not a kid or guest profile.
  2. Open "Settings" Swipe down from the top of the screen & tap the gear icon.
  3. Tap "Device Options"
  4. Tap "Reset to Factory Defaults" Tap "Reset" to confirm. It may take a few minutes to erase your data.

Remember to charge your device

If it doesn't turn on during evaluation, you may get up to $50 less.

To sell to ecoATM, you'll need to be at least 18. We'll use your ID to verify your age and identity as required by law.

Accepted Forms of ID

  • Drivers license
  • State-issued ID cards
  • Military IDs (only for kiosks located on military bases)

We Do Not Accept

  • Expired IDs
  • Passport books or cards
