Deputy Chief Jackson had a distinguished 30 year career with the Atlanta, Georgia Police Department where he served as an investigator in the Homicide Squad, Sex Crimes Squad, and Burglary Unit. Recognizing his talents, Deputy Chief Jackson was quickly promoted to lieutenant and served as Commander of the Intelligence/Organized Crime Unit. He was later promoted to captain and assistant commander of the Special Investigations Section. Due to his exemplary leadership skills, he was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Criminal Investigations. After retirement, Deputy Chief Jackson served as Director of Intelligence & Special Investigations for the Fulton County District Attorney. He is a graduate of the 150th Session of the FBI National Academy and in 1980 graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Government Administration.
