Join ecoATM & Susan G. Komen® For Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 

October is more than a month reserved for chilly weather and fall activities. It is also a month in which we call attention the ongoing battle which several of our friends, family, coworkers and acquaintances have been fighting, or unfortunately have lost to: breast cancer. In fact,  1 in 8 women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. While the statistics are lower, breast cancer can also affect men. 

ecoATM is joining forces with Susan G. Komen® during October to inform, support, and make greater strides towards finding the cures.

While ecoATM has employees that have seen first-hand the impact of breast cancer on loved ones, we have also decided to expand our charity channel to grow a supportive relationship with Komen in the fight against breast cancer. 

By creating donation opportunities at our kiosks, we hope to contribute to funding for breakthrough research as well as support for our community affected by breast cancer. Komen is supporting the breast cancer community by providing support, education, financial assistance and more. We hope to contribute to their goals with the donations raised at our kiosks. 

How ecoATM is Joining the Fight 

We’re thrilled to be partnering with Komen and offering a chance to make a difference directly from all 5,000 of our kiosks across the country during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

Starting October 2nd, we’re offering the option to donate the cash out value of phones sold at an ecoATM kiosk! ecoATM is guaranteeing a minimum contribution to Komen of $100,000, funds that will aid in the advocacy, research to finding the cures and supporting people facing breast cancer today. Donations will be open until November 12th, 2021. 

ecoATM will also be participating with employee volunteers at the 2021 San Diego 3-Day Walk. This walk is a long-standing event that raises money towards breast cancer research and breast health and allows participants to connect with their community and advocate for patient support. If you are attending the walk, stop by our booth for a high-five and some goodies!
